The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Business Development professional with a Tax and Accounting background and working experience at a consulting company to join the PT. Trident Treehouse Consultancy team in Badung, Bali. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining new business opportunities that drive the company's growth, particularly for our Tax, Accounting, and Corporate Services, while also understanding our supporting services: Immigration, Legal, HR & Payroll, and Digital/Multimedia.

As a Business Development professional with a Tax and Accounting foundation, you will be key to expanding our market reach. You are able to understand a prospective client's tax compliance and bookkeeping needs, translate them into the right service solutions, build strong client relationships, and create effective acquisition strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyse new business opportunities in target markets, particularly foreign companies and investors who need tax compliance, accounting, and corporate services, including conducting market research and competitor analysis to inform growth strategy.
• Develop and execute new client acquisition plans through measured and strategic prospecting, networking, and outreach.
• Understand prospective clients' needs in taxation (PPh, PPN, tax returns, Coretax) and accounting (bookkeeping, financial statements, payroll), and recommend the appropriate service packages.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders through proactive communication and consistent follow-up.
• Deliver presentations and initial consultations to qualified prospects, articulating the value proposition of our tax and accounting services clearly and convincingly.
• Prepare proposals and quotations together with the Tax and Accounting teams, and negotiate with prospective clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements in line with the company's business targets.
• Track and report all business development activities, sales pipeline, and key performance metrics to management.
• Collaborate with the Tax, Accounting, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment between what is promised to clients and the team's delivery capacity.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking events to expand your professional network and identify strategic partnership opportunities.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of working experience at a consulting company (tax consultancy, public accounting firm, or corporate services).
• Educational background or working experience in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Taxation or certification (Brevet A/B) is a plus.
• Practical understanding of corporate tax obligations in Indonesia (PPh 21/23/25, PPN, annual tax returns) and the basic accounting cycle, with the ability to explain them to prospective clients in simple terms.
• Strong understanding of sales methodologies and sales funnel management, with the ability to identify the optimal stage of a sale.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, with the ability to articulate a value proposition to local and foreign clients.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience closing professional services deals.
• Solid market research and analytical skills, including the ability to use data to inform strategic decisions.
• Exceptional networking ability and proven relationship-building skills, including with the expat business community in Bali.
• Strong results orientation with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and business KPIs.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple leads and prospects simultaneously.
• Proactive ownership and willingness to work in a fast-changing environment.
• Knowledge of PT PMA establishment, OSS, and corporate compliance processes in Indonesia is a plus.

Client & Internal Coordination

Act as a day-to-day contact for clients on document requests and status updates.

Coordinate with the Tax, Accounting, Immigration, and HR teams on cross-department matters (e.g. KITAS sponsorship tied to a director position).

Keep document filing and case tracking organized in the internal system
